870G Pneumatic High-Pressure Control Valve

Pneumatic high-pressure control valves are specialized valves designed specifically for high-pressure systems. When paired with pneumatic or electric (with electro-pneumatic converters) control instruments, they are used for automatic regulation and remote control in industrial processes across sectors such as chemical, petroleum, and power generation. These valves consist of two main components: a pneumatic diaphragm actuator and a high-pressure control valve.

The structural configuration of pneumatic high-pressure regulating valves features either a high-pressure two-stage cage structure or an axial flow labyrinth structure. Suitable for high differential pressure conditions, the valve plug incorporates nitrided heads or carbide inserts to resist erosion and cavitation under high pressure differentials, thereby extending service life. Due to the high differential pressure, the medium exerts significant unbalanced forces on the valve plug. Consequently, actuators with high rigidity are selected during design, typically paired with valve positioners. The operation of pneumatic high-pressure control valves originates from the thrust generated by the signal pressure on the diaphragm. This thrust drives the push rod to move the valve plug accordingly, thereby adjusting the valve stroke. Changes in stroke alter the valve's flow area, regulating process parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow rate, and liquid level.
