II. Structure and Working Principle:

(1) Structure: This valve consists of left and right valve bodies, rubber sleeve, large and small valve stems, upper and lower gate plates, guide columns, and other components.

(2) Working Principle: Turning the handwheel clockwise simultaneously drives the large and small valve stems to move the upper and lower gate plates, compressing the sleeve to close the valve. Reversing the rotation opens it. Thus, the gate plates reciprocate vertically between the guide columns to complete valve operation. Additionally, since the rubber sleeve bears the load, operators should cease turning the handwheel upon encountering moderate resistance during opening or closing, as this indicates the end position has been reached. Never force the valve or use multiple operators to assist. Do not use other tools to open or close the valve.
