400X Flow Control Valve Working Principle

When water is supplied to the valve from the inlet end, it flows through the needle valve into the main valve control chamber. It then passes through the pilot valve and ball valve before exiting the main valve control chamber to the outlet. At this point, the main valve is in a fully open or floating state. Adjusting the flow control valve on the upper part of the main valve allows setting a specific opening degree for the main valve. By adjusting the needle valve opening and the pilot valve spring pressure, the main valve opening can be maintained at the set position. When pressure changes occur, the pilot valve automatically adjusts to keep the flow rate constant.
